CCI has been working on some new stairs and guardrails the past few weeks at Cedar Bluff Middle School in Knoxville, TN.  Much of the work has been staged and performed on the weekends to minimize the impact on school operations.

 

This project consisted of replacing old and rusted stairs and guardrails with new.  For the guardrails, this required the main posts to be cut flush with the concrete slab and then core drilled out.  The new guardrail posts were fabricated to match the exact location of the old so that they could be grouted in the holes.

This project is scheduled to be completed this week with the installation of one final set of guardrails.
