CCIW recently performed some work at the Cheoah Dam in North Carolina.  The dam is located on the South end of “The Tail of the Dragon” on Highway 129.  The dam is almost 100 years old and is undergoing many renovations.  As part of the renovations, CCIW performed aluminum welding around the power house.

The dam is one of four dams operated by ALCOA aluminum.  The dam was also used as a filming location for the 1993 movie “The Fugitive”, starring Harrison Ford.  Below is photo of the dam and the CCIW truck and trailer on “The Dragon”.
